First Family Trip

Wednesday, April 23rd, Duke University's Botanical Gardens.












The Chapel at Duke, with beautiful stone work, stained glass windows and a humongous organ.

We enjoyed a picnic at the Terrace Gardens. Cai does love the outdoors. His best night yet, waking up the most happy we have ever seen yet, was that night's first family camping trip at Lake Norman State Park, NC.

Playing Hide 'n Seek while doing laundry...boy, he's the cutest outfits...in fact, this one, "Dressed for Success," is from our Young Women in Boulder City~they also signed the cutest baby blanket for him. Thanks El Dorado Valley Young Women!

Brent, Kelly, and Benson Clark came down from Ohio. We had the best time with everyone~Kelly, Jarad, Cheryl, and Katie (four out of the eight Carter kids).

Cai's ready for our hike up to the high points in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
